2024 - just like Disneyland - all the fun without the rides.

2024 has been amazing ride from working with like minded people, consulting to NSW Education Standards Authority, leading the professional learning of ICT Educators NSW and culminating in the launch of my business - Make Create Educate.

The new year brings some opportunities for me to work in the traditional education space with schools, teachers and students and branching into new spaces working with government departments, not for profits and compliance with homeschools.

In 2025 I will available for consultation unpacking the new K-6 Science and Technology syllabus, navigating new content and required skills. I will be facilitating workshops, webinars and working with those needing support with strategic planning and professional learning.

For schools I will also be introducing student incursions as a one off experiences with coding, Microbits and Makey Makey. For schools in the lower and mid north coast of NSW (Forster to Coffs Harbour) this could include regular visits to assist with the implementation of units of work across a term. I have a STEM Community of Practice on Facebook open for all until January 20th, 2025.

My first speaking engagement is 15-16 March at the annual conference for ICT Educators NSW. You can register here the earlybird rates end on 31st December.
